About the role

Are you a qualified forestry or forestry master or surveyor? Become a key player in Sweden's energy transition - as a land negotiator at Vattenfall Services!

Business area Forest, Land & Environment is organized into six departments and sells consulting services to network and energy companies throughout the country. Within the forestry part, these services consist of land negotiation for infrastructure projects and project management of forest maintenance and other measures at existing and new facilities.

As a Land Negotiator with us, you will be introduced to the department by your colleagues and familiarize yourself with the projects we run today. Right now, we are mainly looking for those who have several years of previous experience in similar tasks, but depending on what experience you have, we will of course adapt to you. If you have the will - you have the conditions to succeed!

The following are some of your main tasks:

• Land negotiation
• Project management land access
• Contact with landowners, authorities and other stakeholders
• Stamping, valuation and regulation of damage in forest land
• Customer contact

You will be part of Skog och Mark Syd, which consists of 16 employees. Most of your colleagues in the west work from home and we keep in touch through monthly physical meetings and team meetings. There is a high level of psychological safety in the group, where we are open and available to each other. We often collaborate between our assignments, for example by going out on fieldwork together. A field day in the forest with your colleague is often the most rewarding days!

Requirements

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

• An academic education such as forester, huntsman, surveyor or similar
• Experience of land negotiation and / or project management in forestry projects
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing, preferably also English
• A requirement that you have good computer skills and a B driving license (day trips within the geography occur frequently in the service, sometimes also with overnight stays)

To succeed in the role of Land Negotiator, you need to have a great personal drive and a business approach where you are triggered by challenges and find satisfaction in achieving set goals. You have a structured way of working where clarity and initiative are your hallmarks. Since you will have contact with many external actors, you find it motivating to create and nurture relationships. You do this preferably by being communicative and cooperative.
