As a Line Fitter you work with projects and maintenance - where you either build large overhead lines or maintain them. Climbing at really high altitudes is part of your everyday life. You travel by car between jobs and at the work site you transport yourself, colleagues, materials and equipment using a tracked vehicle, scooter or six-wheeler.

In the role, you will work with new and rebuilding as well as maintenance work on the regional and main network 130-400kV, which in practice means;

• Performing work from the ground or at height either by climbing or from a basket
• Work steps that recur are pole pressing, various types of assembly jobs in poles, pulling out overhead lines, replacement of poles with accessories and rectification of inspection remarks
• Contribute to safe work in the field for you and your colleagues

Travel is a natural part of the work as a Line Fitter, where overnight stays are common and we usually work on Fridays by working longer days Monday-Thursday. We apply home stationing, which means that you have a service car with you home and start from your home. Emergency preparedness may also be included.

Qualifications

As a Line Fitter with us, you are our most important asset for the work performed in the field. We are looking for you who like to provide service and who are always there for your colleagues. You carry out your work with high quality while not forgetting business acumen. You enjoy being part of a team and have a positive attitude. But most importantly, like us, you always put safety first!

We know that you will develop with us but we would like to see that you already have:

• A completed upper secondary practical education from, for example, the vehicle, electricity, technology or construction program, or other relevant area
• B driving license is a requirement, BE we see as a plus
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language
• Work experience in vehicles, electrical, electric power or construction we see as a plus
