Vattenfall Vattenkraft AB is responsible for Vattenfall's 90 hydropower plants and approx. 300 dams in the Nordic region. We are approximately 500 employees in Sweden and Finland with headquarters in Luleå. Hydropower's renewable electricity production is a prerequisite for creating a climate-smart and fossil-free society where we play an important role as an enabler for the sustainable energy system of the future. Our production corresponds to approx. 25% of Sweden's total electricity needs. Now we are looking for an administrative manager IT for Luleå!

As administrative manager IT, you have a central role in our system administration. We work based on a management model that is inspired by PM3 and manages in it both administrative support systems, as well as production-related systems and infrastructure.

The work is varied and you are offered room for action and good opportunities to be involved and influence how we manage and develop critical IT systems at a time when hydropower is a very important part of Sweden's total electricity mix. Our hydroelectric plants are used to generate both base power (the amount of electricity that is always needed) and control power (electricity production that can be started quickly to meet variations in demand).

When you have the opportunity to travel in the service, you will be met, among other things, by magnificent hydropower plants and knowledgeable colleagues. We believe it is important that you are interested in teamwork and to inspire commitment in a geographically dispersed organization.

We are looking for you who have

  • Post-secondary education majoring in IT (e.g. engineer or systems scientist) or equivalent competence acquired through work experience
  • Worked with IT management, is familiar with management work and has knowledge of the PM3 model.

Meritorious can be

  • Certification in administration or project management
  • Experience of QA/quality management in the IT area.

As a person, you are enterprising and motivated by improving IT systems and processes for increased business benefit. We welcome your previous experiences and are interested in your ideas and visions that you want to realize together with us.

The work involves a lot of collaboration both within our company and at group level. You appreciate making new contacts and feel comfortable communicating in both Swedish and English. Travel in the service occurs, B driving license good to have, but you can also choose other ways of travel.
