We are now looking for a Manager New Business, to run service and support for Vattenfall's customers within InCharge, Solar cells and Microproduction in the Nordics.

The main purpose of the role as Head of New Business is to ensure that Customer Service and the business areas that purchase services from Vattenfall's Customer Service have clear common goals and collaborate effectively to achieve them. In addition to leadership, the role also includes responsibility as Key Account Manager for stakeholders within the New Business area of ​​activity.

Personnel responsibility for both managers and specialists is included. You report to the Director Business Development and are part of his management team.

About the role

Main areas of responsibility

  • Manager and employee development
  • Manage the business towards set business goals and be responsible for the budget and personnel
  • Ensure a proactive, constructive and positive dialogue with our clients
  • As Key Account Manager plan and run joint forums with internal clients within Vattenfall Group
  • Participate in the start-up of new initiatives and ensure that the right people from Customer Service are involved and take ownership
  • Participate and run certain parts of the annual budget and scorecard work
  • Report status on an ongoing basis, for example on joint initiatives
  • Escalation point for our clients


Requirements specification

Your profile

In this role, we see a communicative person with good collaboration skills who enjoys working with many people in different roles. You can quickly familiarize yourself with various business challenges and have a solution-focused approach. You have solid leadership experience and are also used to leading and developing managers.

  • University degree in economics or technology (with merit)
  • Experience of working with E-mobility and/or Solar cells and similar business (meriting)
  • Experience of working in or with customer service activities (meritorious)
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 2 years as manager of managers
  • Experience in employee and leadership development
  • Experience of culture and value-based work
  • Experience of management team work
  • At least 2 years of experience in stakeholder management
  • Very good communication and collaboration skills
  • Structured and strong planning skills
  • Proactive, clear and high integrity
  • Fluent Swedish and English
