Now we are looking for two mechanics for Bispgården!

As a mechanic at Vattenfall Vattenkraft, you will work with mechanical maintenance and projects at hydropower plants.

You will be part of a maintenance group based in Bispgården. The group includes mechanics, electricians, alarm technicians, storage technicians, team leaders and managers. We work with unit shutdowns and status assessments, preventive maintenance and rebuilding projects in Indalsälven, Ångermanälven and Gimån, we can also support colleagues in other parts of the country if necessary.

As a mechanic, you will mainly work with generators, turbines and their auxiliary equipment as well as intake and outlet sluice gates.

Here are examples of your main tasks:

  • Status assessments and maintenance in collaboration with other mechanics, electricians, production technicians and contractors
  • Reporting and analyzing collected information and data in our maintenance system (SAP)
  • Installation, repair and service of equipment
  • Participate in dust inspections
  • Develop and improve working methods to ensure safe and efficient work with careful risk assessments
  • Participate in the planning and preparation of maintenance and project work, we would like you to eventually take a leading fitter role.

Requirements

We are looking for you who are careful, safety-conscious and enjoy working in a team. You have education in, for example, industrial, workshop technology, mechanics or maintenance. Experience of mechanical operation and maintenance work at hydropower plants or similar industrial activities is an advantage.

Safety is our top priority, and we are looking for an attentive and safe colleague. You take responsibility for ensuring that the work is carried out both efficiently and safely, with a focus on ongoing risk observations.

You have a good IT habit, good knowledge of Swedish and a B driving license. The service involves travel where sometimes overnight stays occur.
