To develop our plant and produce electricity for many years to come, we are now looking for Designers to strengthen our group in mechanical design.

About us

The group works to develop demanded mechanical designs for everything from remedial maintenance to participating in large change projects that extend over several years. At Ringhals, you are involved in all phases of the design - from design through manufacturing to installation and commissioning. The work is characterized by cohesion and cooperation. It goes without saying that we help each other and work together to achieve our goals.

About the position

As a designer with us, your main task is to develop manufacturing and installation documentation to meet the needs of the plant. In close cooperation with experienced colleagues, the designer solves assigned tasks. The working methods vary depending on the task - from working with the maintenance organization and the workshop to develop designs to maintain what we have, to participating in projects to introduce improvements in our facilities.

Requirements specification

About you

We are looking for you who are curious about technology and like to find solutions to practical challenges. You see yourself as a meticulous person with the ability to develop technical solutions based on requirements and specifications. You are collaborative, communicative and driven by a desire to develop your interest in technology.

In addition to this is required:

  • Technically oriented post-secondary education in design, mechanics or equivalent
  • Experience with CAD programs, meritorious AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Plant3D and Inventor
  • Experience with detail design
  • You master Swedish and English well, both spoken and written
