Vattenfall Vattenkraft is responsible for Vattenfall's 90 hydropower plants and about 300 dams in the Nordic region. We are about 500 employees in Sweden and Finland with headquarters in Luleå. We are now looking for a committed mechanical maintenance team leader for Näsåker!

You will be part of a maintenance group consisting of mechanics, electricians, senior fitters, storage technicians, team leaders and managers. We work with overhauls, shutdowns, maintenance and rebuilding projects at hydropower plants in the Ångermanälven, we can also take on jobs in Vattenfall's plants in other rivers if necessary.

In the mechanical team, we are about 10 colleagues who mainly work with technology and maintenance linked to generators, turbines (and its auxiliary equipment) and intake and discharge hatches. As a team leader, you have an important role in creating conditions, you will, for example, work with:

  • Planning, preparation, daily control and follow-up of completed work
  • Semi-planning for overhauls and shutdowns
  • Management of incoming error messages, problem solving and certain investigations
  • Accident reporting, order management and condition checks
  • Systematic safety and work environment work.

Requirements

We are looking for you who have education in, for example, industrial / workshop technology, mechanics and / or maintenance. You may also have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience. We would like to see that you have had a leading role where you have gained experience of working with planning, prioritization and coordination. It is an advantage if you have experience of maintenance work at hydropower plants or similar industrial activities.

As a person, you are committed and proactive, you create conditions and inspire confidence. To work as a team leader, it is important that you are interested in leadership issues, that you are structured, have good planning skills and that you appreciate taking hold of, and working with various improvements.

Safety in the workplace is number one, you need to be an attentive and confident colleague who thrives on collaboration. You take responsibility for ensuring that work is done effectively under safe conditions with ongoing risk observations. You have a good IT habit, good knowledge of Swedish and preferably also English and a B driving license. Travel in the service occurs.
