Do you want to work as an Operations Engineer with us at VB Elnät and contribute to fossil freedom?
Investing, expanding and maintaining the electricity grid is part of our everyday life. The electricity network is monitored around the clock via our operations center in Ludvika. We are also responsible for measuring how much electricity our customers use. Within Västerbergslagens Elnät, we are currently 28 employees who together accelerate our digital transformation, test and implement new technology that contributes to increased delivery reliability and delivery quality for our customers. We are in a growth phase with major investment plans and to meet our customers' needs and contribute to the energy transition, we are now looking for an Operations Engineer. Your responsibilities
As an Operations Engineer with us, you are part of the Production Department and will be an important support in the daily and long-term operation and maintenance work to ensure high availability of facilities. You will be responsible for:
- execution and planning of operation and maintenance
- development and improvement of work routines and processes
- collaboration with customers
The position involves a lot of customer contacts both in the field and by phone.

Qualifications
- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience that is considered equivalent
- Experience of practical work from, for example, troubleshooting in low and high voltage plants
- More advantageous with knowledge in process, electricity, control and control technology, maintenance or mechanics.
- Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing is required.
