As Operations Manager, you are responsible for the operational activities. You and your team are responsible for effectively leading, managing and developing the unit with support in set client SLAs as well as Vattenfall Kundservice Norden's strategies, business plan and core values. You work with goal management and continuous improvements and use the knowledge and commitment of all employees to develop the business and the teams towards a world-class customer experience. As Operation Manager, you are responsible for a unit of approximately 60 employees and five directly reporting People & Business Managers as well as directly reporting Customer Interaction Officer.

We are looking for a leader with the ability to connect business, people and service. You enjoy working results-oriented and have the ability to establish that approach in your employees. You work in a structured way but also understand the importance of acting proactively in line with changing conditions.


As Operations Manager, you are part of the Customer Relations management team at Vattenfall Kundservice AB and report to the Director Customer Relations. In the grouping, you drive and develop areas of responsibility that are included within the scope of the role, while being responsive to creating conditions according to the needs of the business. You are expected to act according to our shared values ​​and actively work for diversity and inclusion. You are responsible for developing your employees to their full potential and you have the ability to trust and give responsibility to them through delegation


The position's main tasks and areas of responsibility:

  • Optimize our delivery and create the right conditions for our People & Business Managers to reach set goals
  • Take responsibility for a safe and secure work environment for all employees
  • Comply with Vattenfall's policies and guidelines
  • Through work with statistics, identify priority areas linked to our set KPIs and ensure that we are within the framework of the budget
  • Work with continuous improvement and streamlining of operations
  • Manage deviations in a systematic way
  • Support our clients with their ambitions and strategies by actively participating in operational/tactical level meetings.
  • Report and provide ongoing input to the Customer Relations Director
  • Analyze results and establish activities for different target areas

Requirements specification

Your qualifications:

  • University education or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of documented leadership experience
  • Experience of personnel-intensive operations
  • Experience of leading managers is advantageous
  • Experience of having worked as a leader in tactical and strategic roles is meritorious
  • Experience of management team work is advantageous
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
