About the role

Are you structured and like planning and anticipation?

The Technical Surveillance department within Vattenfall Eldistribution continues to grow and now we are looking for you who want to work in a dynamic and varied work role that combines staff planning and coordination within our monitoring center. The position means that you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating human resources to ensure the efficient operation of the business.

As a staff planner and coordinator within Technical Surveillance, you will play a key role in ensuring a functional and good working environment within our work group. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the shifts by

  • Creating and adjusting the staff planning for the monitoring center taking into account the needs of the business and labor law rules
  • Acting as a contact person for the staff when it comes to questions regarding scheduling and dealing with emergency vacancies that may occur
  • Follow up on staff working hours and absences to ensure good redundancy within the team
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and improve staff planning and team working procedures
  • Participate in shifts when needed

The team currently consists of 10 monitoring center operators in Luleå.

Requirements

We are looking for you who have:

  • Gymnasium education or other education/experience that the employer considers relevant to the position
  • Good understanding of labor law, collective agreements and work environment issues.
  • Ability to work with different security systems
  • Experience in personnel planning, scheduling or similar roles, preferably in the security or surveillance industry
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in teams
  • Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing

It is meritorious if you also have:

  • Experience in the security industry
  • Good computer skills
  • Experience working shifts
