We continue to grow and make major investments in our regional networks. Therefore, you are needed who has knowledge in electricity. The majority of the work takes place in project form and now we need to strengthen to contribute to a fossil-free Sweden.

We develop the electricity network, connect new customers, enable the connection of modern production and secure the possibility of increased power output. Everything to create the conditions for the energy transition through a more flexible and smarter electricity grid with fewer power outages and safer supply.

As a regional network planning engineer within the Project Planning department, you will have the opportunity to project manage and manage resources for Vattenfall Eldistribution's investment project in the pre-study phase. Among other things, you will work with project management, calculating and motivating investment projects by being responsible for pre-projecting regional network facilities with a focus on qualitative and cost-effective technical solutions. The work includes i.a. preparation of investment calculations, present value calculations and project descriptions as well as production of decision documents for decision makers. As a planning engineer, you are also active in the work of developing operations and colleagues.

Your background

We are looking for you who have

  • A post-secondary education, preferably in electrical power engineering or that you have acquired equivalent competence through work experience
  • Many years of relevant experience of working with regional networks or trunk networks
  • Good ability to express yourself both orally and in writing in Swedish and English
  • Driving license class B

You are technically and financially interested and have a business perspective when you develop and present proposed solutions. Furthermore, you have a strategic ability to drive work in projects and have an aptitude for structure. You are driven and motivated by working on different issues and together with other colleagues. Finally, we believe that you find it rewarding and interesting to have a lot of contact with customers and partners.

It is advantageous if you have experience in

  • Planning of electrical installations
  • Project management
  • Present value calculations and investment calculations
  • Work with the client's work environment responsibility / BAS-P
