Job description

Sweden has begun a historic transformation and is facing an extensive electrification of society. In order to show our ambition to contribute to the energy transition and to continue enabling increased electrification of Sweden, we have as a goal to distribute twice as much electricity in our electricity grid by 2030 and to transmit electricity with 99.99% delivery reliability.

We are now looking for you who want to be part of a committed and competent team and become our next Facilities Analyst with a focus on local networks for the Asset Performance group within the Asset Management unit at Vattenfall Eldistribution AB.

The role of Facility Analyst

Vattenfall Eldistribution is at the beginning of a digital change journey where we will move from analogue and manual handling of data, analyzes and maintenance plans for our plants. This should make it possible to move from reactive maintenance to predictive, smart and status-based maintenance. The Asset Performance group is a key function in this development and currently consists of 16 employees. We monitor the status and risk exposure of our facilities in the network. Through analyzes and investigations, we evaluate deviations from expected delivery and performance at our facilities.

As a Facility Analyst, you are responsible for performing analyzes on the company's facilities based on a financial, statistical, status and facility risk perspective. The role involves developing analysis methods to map the status and plant risk of large plant stocks. Furthermore, take collective responsibility for a number of plant parts, how these are managed most efficiently over time with regard to maintenance, replacements and reinvestment rates.

Requirements specification

To be successful in the role, we believe you have:

  • Engineering education with specialization in electric power, energy technology, etc. similar or equivalent work experience on distribution networks 0.4-20 kV
  • Work experience of electricity distribution or experience of maintenance issues/management within distribution networks 0.4-20 kV
  • Worked with quantitative analyzes and/or have experience with data organization and database structure
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English both orally and in writing

We attach great importance to your personal qualities and are looking for a person who can independently push their work forward and is used to taking their own initiative and can develop and streamline processes. We believe that you have good analytical skills and are stimulated by solving complex technical/financial issues and have the ability to present results from analyzes/investigations in an educational manner. We believe that you have good judgment and can create an understanding of what basis is required to make correct balanced decisions in these matters. Since in this role you need to collaborate with various stakeholders and have several collaboration areas, you also have good collaboration skills.

We consider it meritorious if you also have:

  • Knowledge within Netbas
  • Knowledge of SAP PM
  • Knowledge of FMEA
