As a Power System Specialist with us, we promise that you will be challenged in exciting and complex issues with the task of ensuring that production facilities are connected to local and regional grids according to the correct technical conditions. The Facility Development department within the Asset Management unit currently consists of 14 employees with high technical competence and we need more! Vattenfall Eldistribución is facing major investment increases in the coming years and it is important to develop our facilities so that they can be built resource- and cost-effectively while being climate-wise sustainable and robust. Facility development contributes to developing the electricity grid in step with societal development, and in addition to responsibility for the connection codes, we are responsible for, among other things, for technology development pilots, technical review of investment projects and technical governing documents. Our department is characterized by great competence, will and energy. We are fully focused on the task and also make sure to have fun at work.

Your work assignments

Now we need to strengthen with additional employees within connection codes, Requirements for Generators (RfG), ​​whose main task will be to

  • For the connection and conversion of production facilities convey the requirements according to RfG and internal technical conditions
  • Conduct the onboarding process for these facilities, which includes review and verification of facility data, compliance testing and simulation results
  • Participate in the internal and external development work around RfG regarding routines, processes and governing documents
  • Contribute to the internal project that implements the network codes within the company
  • Environmental monitoring within your area of ​​responsibility

Requirements specification

We are looking for you who have an engineering education in electrical power/energy technology at college or university level, or equivalent competence acquired in another way that we deem equivalent

You have good collaboration skills and can easily express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English

Driving license B is a requirement as travel may occur in the position.

Meritorious is if you have experience and knowledge in

  • Design, simulation and testing of production facilities
  • Grid codes or knowledge of RfG & EIFS 2018:2
  • Generators and other electrical power components
  • Formulate and concretize technical requirements and interpret standards and regulations

In addition to the formal skills we ask for, we attach great importance to your personal qualities. We believe that you as a person have good judgment where you can make correct balances and priorities based on complex data. You are self-motivated as a person with a natural ability to structure and plan your work, while at the same time you need to have well-developed cooperation skills as you participate in several different connection matters and work with different stakeholders.
