Vattenfall Vattenkraft is responsible for Vattenfall's 90 hydropower plants and about 300 dams in the Nordic region. We are about 500 employees in Sweden and Finland with headquarters in Luleå. Hydropower's renewable electricity production is a prerequisite for creating a climate-smart and fossil-free society where we play an important role as an enabler for the sustainable energy system of the future.Our production corresponds to about 25% of Sweden's total electricity needs. To deliver high availability in our production, we need to constantly challenge ourselves, develop our working methods and take advantage of digital opportunities.

Vattenfall Vattenkraft is looking for production technicians for Porjus and Jokkmokk (Akkats)!

As a production technician, you will participate in all production / operational technical work at Vattenfall's hydropower plants. The Porjus team is responsible for Ritsem, Vietas, Porjus and Harsprånget and the Akkats team has Ligga, Seitevare, Parki, Randi and Akkats.

You will work with troubleshooting, rounds, analysis, problem solving, periodic work, daily maintenance and improvement projects. In the future, you may also have a role as a coordinator in connection with recurring status assessments, reviews and projects in the relevant facilities.

The positions are full-time and after introduction you will be part of our readiness on a rolling schedule.

Requirements specification

We are looking for you who are a versatile and responsible person with a solution-oriented attitude. You enjoy collaborating and sharing ideas and knowledge with colleagues. Your approach is structured and thorough, with a clear focus on safety. You enjoy working in a team, but are also comfortable working independently when required.

You have a technical upper secondary education, such as the electricity and energy program or hydropower technology. It is meritorious if you have experience of industrial maintenance and hydropower plants or other large-scale and technical production environment.

IT skills and good knowledge of Swedish are a requirement, it is an advantage if you also master English. B-driving license is required, the work involves travel.

We are looking for production technicians for both Porjus and Jokkmokk (Akkats).
