Vattenfall Vattenkraft is responsible for Vattenfall's 90 hydropower plants and approx. 300 dams in the Nordic region. We are approximately 500 employees in Sweden and Finland with headquarters in Luleå. Job description

As a production technician in Åsele, you will participate in all daily operation and maintenance work at the Åsele and Stenkulla hydropower stations. On occasion, we can also count on work at other hydropower stations for which Vattenfall Vattenkraft is responsible.

You will work on troubleshooting, preventive and condition-based maintenance and some improvement projects. In the long run, you will be part of the emergency team.

Requirements specification

You have electrical education at upper secondary level (with advantage the electricity and energy program focusing on hydropower) and a broad interest in electricity and good electrical knowledge. Education at a university of applied sciences as a hydropower technician is meritorious.

We are looking for you with a few years of work experience from electricity production, process industry or other industrial activities. If you have previously been responsible for smaller projects and some planning, it can be meritorious. Knowledge of the technology (both older and more modern) that exists in and controls a hydropower station is also desirable.

We are looking for a positive and driven employee who enjoys taking responsibility. You both value and contribute to a good collaboration and attach great importance to safety in all stages. The work requires good computer skills and that you speak and write Swedish, preferably also English. It is a requirement that you have a B driving licence.
