Operating, developing and building the electricity grid of the future requires many different skills and we continue to grow and are therefore looking for several new project managers.

Vattenfall Eldistribution operates a socially critical infrastructure that distributes just over half of all electricity produced in Sweden. Responsibilities and tasks

We are looking for project managers for station and line projects within 20-220kV voltage. You will be ultimately responsible for realizing set goals and have overall responsibility for managing projects to the right cost, quality and time. This includes leading and coordinating projects as well as communicating and representing Vattenfall's interests towards other stakeholders such as authorities, municipalities and contractors. Travel in the service occurs.

Your main responsibilities include the following:

• Lead, distribute and follow up the work both internally within the project team and externally through our suppliers and contractors
• Take overall responsibility within the agreed project framework in terms of finance, schedule, function and quality
• Follow up and act as a role model for safety work and ensure a safe working environment
• Create and maintain both external and internal relationships with customers, consultants and authorities and internally interact with other functions within the company
• Communicate and report project status to relevant stakeholders and ensure that they have the right information
• Create strategies to develop the procurement process together with purchasing
• Follow forecast and budget follow-up for decided projects
• Proactively work with calculation and management of risks in the project

Requirement specification

Qualifications

• You have a post-secondary education, preferably in energy, electric power, project management, economics, law or relevant work experience
• Several years of experience in project management in the execution phase
• Experience projects in electric power
• Experience working with other authorities regarding, for example, building permits, water, traffic safety issues and / or permit issues
• Knowledge of construction law (AB04/ABT06/ABK09)
• Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing
• Driving license: Class B

It is meritorious if you have:

• Education in project management and/or electrical safety
• Experience in project management in regional networks, infrastructure or exploitation
• Experience of working on the supplier side from a customer perspective
• Experience in mentoring
