Vattenfall Vattenkraft is responsible for Vattenfall's 90 hydropower plants and about 300 dams in the Nordic region. We are about 500 employees in Sweden and Finland with headquarters in Luleå. Hydropower is a prerequisite for creating a fossil-free society and making the sustainable energy system of the future possible. Our production corresponds to about 25% of Sweden's total electricity needs. To continue to meet the changing needs of our customers and society, we need to constantly challenge ourselves, develop our working methods and take advantage of digital opportunities. You will be an important part of that work!
Hydro power will be provided with modern environmental conditions - do you want to be part of leading the journey?
Hydroelectric power plants and regulating dams used for electricity production must by law have modern environmental conditions. The work with the national plan (NAP) for reviewing hydropower means that Vattenfall Vattenkraft's permits are modernized with conditions needed for the quality of affected waters to meet the requirements of the Environmental Code.
Now Vattenfall Vattenkraft is recruiting a project manager with a key role in the work of providing our power plants and regulation dams with modern environmental conditions!
The work is conducted in NAP projects consisting of preparation, collaboration, environmental investigations, feasibility studies, application, court review, implementation and follow-up.
