Our project business is now looking for two Project Managers for station projects!

Responsibilities and tasks

Project management regional network is responsible for planning, leading and delivering decided plant investments. We are cohesive for project teams and are responsible for the projects' finances, schedule, function and quality.

As a Project Manager with us, you are ultimately responsible for realizing set goals and have overall responsibility for managing projects at the right cost, quality and time. This means, among other things, leading and coordinating projects as well as communicating and representing Vattenfall's interests towards other stakeholders such as authorities, municipalities and contractors. Travel will be involved.

You will lead and coordinate projects with the help of internal and external support. Your main responsibilities include the following elements:

  • Lead, distribute and follow up the work both internally within the project team and externally through our suppliers and contractors
  • Take overall responsibility within the agreed project framework regarding finances, schedule, function and quality
  • Follow up and act as a role model for safety work and ensure a safe working environment
  • Create and maintain both external and internal relationships with customers, consultants and authorities and internally collaborate with other functions within the company
  • Communicate and report project status to relevant stakeholders and ensure that they have the right information
  • Create strategies to develop the procurement process together with purchasing
  • Follow forecast and budget follow-up for decided projects
  • Work proactively with calculation and management of risks in the project

Qualifications

  • Preferably post-secondary education in energy, electrical power or relevant work experience deemed equivalent
  • Several years of experience in project management in the execution phase
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing
  • B-driving license

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience of project management in regional networks or infrastructure
  • Experience of working with other authorities regarding, for example, building permits, water and sewage, traffic safety issues and / or permit issues
  • Knowledge of construction law (AB04/ABT06/ABK09)
  • Experience of working on the supplier side from a customer perspective
