About the role

Do you want to work as a Project Manager with us at VB Elnät and contribute to fossil freedom?

Investing, expanding and maintaining the electricity grid is part of our everyday life. The electricity network is monitored around the clock via our operations center in Ludvika. We are also responsible for measuring how much electricity our customers use. Within Västerbergslagens Elnät, we are currently 31 employees who together accelerate our digital transformation, test and implement new technology that contributes to increased delivery reliability and delivery quality for our customers. We are in a growth phase with major investment plans and to meet our customers' needs and contribute to the energy transition, we are now looking for a Project Manager. Your responsibilities

You will be part of the Project and Documentation team responsible for investments in the electricity grid. The work includes consultation and collaboration with many stakeholders such as landowners, authorities, contractors and of course internal and external clients. As a Project Manager, you will mainly work with tasks such as:

• Project management to ensure progress throughout the project and carry out controls and control of the contract and financial follow-up.
• Plan and project manage new and rebuilding and maintenance projects of electricity distribution facilities 0.4-145kV.
• Propose technical solutions for review and prepare financial cost calculations.
• Participate in the field at, for example, construction meetings, final inspections and project follow-ups.

Requirements

• An upper secondary education, preferably in electricity.
• Basic knowledge in finance, time follow-up, coordination and prioritization.
• Basic client skills to be able to identify the project's stakeholders as a client and ensure a correct requirements picture from maintenance, finance and future planning.
• Knowledge of construction law.
• Good knowledge of the office package.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Project or other planning tool for projects.
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing is required.
• Driving license B is a requirement for the position as you need to go out into the field in connection with the planning and execution of the projects.

It is also advantageous if you have:

• Post-secondary education in electricity
• Experience in electrical network planning.
• Experience in the electricity industry is advantageous.
• ESA-19.
• Experience with the NIS system dpPower.
• Experience of work in electrical networks.
• Competence in public procurement.

To succeed in the role, it is important that you have good collaboration skills, as you will be part of a small team where you and your colleagues work a lot together. You will be working on several projects at the same time and therefore it is also important that you are a structured person with a good ability to organize and plan in an efficient way. To thrive in the role, we also believe you need to be flexible and have an adaptable approach. You will be a driven leader who can drive projects forward and manage the issues that arise along the way to deliver results.
