About the role

In the role of Site Manager/Work Manager, you will be part of the development of Sweden's regional and trunk networks. In the role, you will be responsible for coordination with clients, UE and side contracts to ensure the progress of the contract. You will plan and lead the daily work of the team. In your role, you also have the support of, among others, the responsible project manager, construction engineer, work environment engineer and project support. You will spend a large part of the working week on site, in our projects we work longer days Monday to Thursday and work on Fridays.

  • Review technical documents and establish work preparations together with other project members.
  • Act as a sounding board for the teams and discuss solutions to technical issues and anchor these internally and with the client.
  • Be Vattenfall Services' representative in the field where you ensure that the work is carried out according to agreed contract documents. This is done continuously during the course of the work.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out in accordance with the applicable work environment plan, quality plan and environmental plan and, if necessary, make any corrections to these.
  • Keep a collective diary for all work on site.
  • If necessary, carry out work environment and environmental rounds together with project managers and project participants.
  • Call for materials and contract work and machine contracts and make purchases as delegated by the project manager.
  • Together with the project manager, plan and follow the cost development of the project, and immediately report to the project manager any deviations that have occurred or are feared.
  • Responsible for ensuring that reception checks are carried out on incoming materials.
  • Report and document incidents and deviations.


Requirements

As a person, you are business-minded, like problem solving and are motivated by running an efficient and profitable production. You also have the ability to create and develop good relationships. We expect you to be good at planning and organizing your work and be comfortable using our digital tools. You speak and understand Swedish and English in speech and writing. Work experience in one or more of the following areas (or other area that Vattenfall Services deems equivalent):

  • Good competence and practical experience of power line construction within trunk and regional networks.
  • Experience from construction management/construction control/inspection within trunk and regional networks.
  • Good knowledge of the construction process in ground works and advantageously also previous experience of having worked as a site manager.
  • Several years of practical work experience in handling or assembling large steel structures in the field.

We consider it a merit if you have:

  • ESA professional
  • Documented BAS-U training
  • Knowledge in Construction Law such as AB04/ABT06

Location: Now we are looking for a person for our project business in Norrbotten. Today we have a project between Gällivare and Jokkmokk. Most of our employees are stationed at home.
