Svensk Kärnbränslehantering AB, SKB, is working on one of Sweden's largest environmental protection projects. SKB's mission is to take care of all radioactive waste from the Swedish nuclear power plants. This must be done in a safe manner for both people and the environment.

Today, around 600 people are employed at SKB. We have extensive collaboration with experts and contractors outside the company.

SKB's head office is located in Arenastaden in Solna. We also have offices in Oskarshamn and Forsmark in Östhammar municipality, where we have facilities and conduct various activities prior to the construction of a final repository for spent nuclear fuel.

SKB is now looking for a safety-conscious and responsible safety protection coordinator.

Here you will work

The Operations and Maintenance Department is responsible for the operation of SKB's nuclear facilities. In Oskarshamn there is the interim storage facility for spent nuclear fuel, Clab, and in Forsmark there is the final repository for short-lived radioactive waste, SFR.

In the Protection and Transport unit, we are responsible for security protection activities at Clab and SFR and, where applicable, on our transport system.

Now we are looking for an employee for the protection and security group in the area of security protection at the SFR facility. As an employee with us, you will be a driving force in the security protection area at the facility, both in the line and pre-projects.

What you will do

In the service, you will, among other things, work with the following:

• Conduct control and follow-up of operational surveillance and physical protection.
• Identify the need for and issue documentation in the field of physical protection.
• Be the contact person for hired security personnel.
• Advise/interpret documents in the field of security protection.
• Conduct factual review in the field of physical protection.
• Manage events / deviations in physical protection.
• Conduct training / information regarding physical protection.

Requirements specification

We are looking for you who have:

• Training in security protection (for example through Swedish industry) or the equivalent.
• Experience of working with security protection issues, preferably in a security-classified service.
• Additional: knowledge of the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority's regulations for physical protection.

You are self-driven, structured and have high integrity. You thrive on taking responsibility, are quality conscious and easy to work with. You are communicative, both in Swedish and English, and have the ability to adapt even when conditions change.

B driving license is a requirement.
