About the role
Vattenfall Services Stations Project continues to invest forward and is now looking for new colleagues with expertise and experience in substation construction mechanics. Our assignments are largely turnkey contracts and we are looking for you who have experience of working in project organizations. You will be an important part of creating the best conditions for our Project Managers and project organizations, which means high safety thinking, good progress, commitment and quality. Our hope is that with your background and experience you will make a decisive contribution to our business and also generate further opportunities in collaboration with our employees, customers and suppliers.
In our Business Area, we carry out projects and deliver complete solutions for electrical and control equipment for substations and power stations. Our customers are mainly electricity grid companies and hydropower producers.
Your role
In the role of Specialist in the Project Reference Group, you contribute with your expertise in switchgear design. Your expertise will be a complement in our tender work where you review and analyze incoming offers, but also participate in the work of developing tender documents. You will act as a specialist resource and support our project managers in technical choices. The focus will be on larger station projects at voltage levels 130kV and up to 400kV. You will be supported by Vattenfall Services' competent employees and established subcontractors.
The work is independent, while requiring a strong focus on collaboration and communication both internally and externally. The role reports to the Business Area Manager and to the Project Manager. Travel is part of the assignment.

The position has a national responsibility with stationing at one of our establishments in Sweden. Examples are Kalmar, Helsingborg, Gothenburg, Trollhättan, Norrköping, Stockholm, Sundsvall, Sollefteå, Umeå or Luleå but other locations may also be possible.
