We are looking for a strategic maintenance engineer with a focus on mechanical components for the Mechanical Maintenance group at Ringhals.

About the job

We are a strategic maintenance engineer group of eighteen people who are responsible for mechanical maintenance at Ringhals. Our group covers several areas of responsibility such as Diesel, HVAC, Rotating, Turbine, Valves and Passives.

As a maintenance engineer you will work together with an experienced and close-knit group where we help each other to deliver the availability expected on the mechanical components the group is responsible for.

Your primary duties:

  • Develop and follow up on strategic maintenance plans and analyze and develop maintenance efforts in your assigned area
  • Monitor technical performance and propose changes and modifications
  • Compile reports and develop and maintain instructions and manuals
  • Responsible for, run or participate in change and maintenance projects and specific assignments
  • Follow technical developments in the field of technology nationally and internationally, and implement lessons learned to improve operations

Requirements specification

In this role, we would like to see that you have:

  • A university degree in, for example, process or mechanical engineering, or equivalent knowledge acquired through practical experience
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably with a focus on valves. Technical background from the group's other technical areas is also advantageous
  • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks and handle periodically high workload
  • Very good communication skills in speech and writing in Swedish and English

Meritande:

  • Certification as "European Expert in Maintenance Management"
