Now we are looking for a Maintenance engineer for the area Surface treatment Rust protection to the Construction Maintenance group at Ringhals.
About us
Our group is responsible for construction maintenance activities in construction, ground, surface treatment and port and fairway. The group is also responsible for technical insulation, SBA testing and parts of the physical protection. The group consists of the group manager, eight maintenance engineers and three planning engineers.
About the role
As a Maintenance Engineer specializing in corrosion protection, you are responsible for maintaining and developing the status of the facilities and being a technical expert in the field of corrosion protection.
The role includes:
You work both operationally and strategically with corrosion protection and surface treatment. In the daily work, you handle incoming cases in our order system, plan maintenance efforts in consultation with the management and set requirements for painting both at Ringhals and at external suppliers. The role also involves working with invoice management and delivery follow-up. You actively participate in developing technical guidelines and color systems in the area.
Requirement specification
About you
We are looking for you who have a university education with a focus on mechanics, or equivalent upper secondary education combined with relevant experience from the industry. You have very good knowledge of Swedish, both oral and written, and it is meritorious if you also master English. You have very good computer skills and are comfortable with documenting and writing reports.
The role involves many interfaces, especially with external suppliers, where you need to be able to communicate clearly and responsively. You act as both a demander and a partner, which places demands on your ability to build good relationships and create a constructive collaboration.
As a person, you are structured, strategic and easy to take responsibility and drive your work forward. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy building relationships both internally and externally. You are proactive, goal-oriented and have the ability to prioritize when the pace is high.
