Vattenfall Vattenkraft is responsible for Vattenfall's 90 hydropower plants and approx. 300 dams in the Nordic region. We are approximately 500 employees in Sweden and Finland with headquarters in Luleå. Now we are looking for a team leader for the control facility Lule river!

In our group, we work with technical troubleshooting, problem solving, maintenance, electrical design, programming, testing and commissioning of systems, control facilities and other electrical equipment in Vattenfall Vattenkraft's production facilities. We also participate in feasibility studies and projects.

Our work is varied, we need to adapt to different situations and be prepared for priorities to change. We are currently 12 colleagues in the group, based in Boden, Vuollerim, Jokkmokk and Porjus.

As a control facility team leader, you have an important role in creating the conditions for our work, for example you will work with:

  • Work management, planning, preparation, daily management and follow-up of completed work
  • Handling of received error messages, problem solving and certain investigations
  • Co-planning, planning for revisions and shutdowns
  • Deviation reporting, order processing and condition checks
  • Ensuring our preparedness function
  • Systematic safety and work environment work.

Requirements specification

You have training in electrical power and/or automation technology. In addition to that, you have also worked with planning and/or work management as well as operation and maintenance of electric power plants. Experience in electricity production and hydropower facilities is advantageous.

As a person, you are committed and initiative-taking, you create conditions and inspire trust. To work as a team leader, it is required that you are structured, that you have good planning skills and that you appreciate taking on and working on various improvements.

Good IT skills are important, previous experience with SAP and working with planning tools is a plus. You speak and write Swedish and English, B driving license is a requirement as travel is included in the position.
