Vattenfall Vattenkraft is responsible for Vattenfall's 90 hydropower plants and approx. 300 dams in the Nordic region. We are approximately 500 employees in Sweden and Finland with headquarters in Luleå. Hydropower's renewable electricity production is a prerequisite for creating a climate-smart and fossil-free society where we play an important role as an enabler for the sustainable energy system of the future. Our production corresponds to approx. 25% of Sweden's total electricity needs. Job description

Now we are looking for a team leader for Lycksele!

We are six colleagues in the Lyckseleteamet and together we are responsible for the hydropower plants Tuggen, Rusfors and Grundfors. We work with production/operational technical work, this means, for example, analysis and problem solving, practical troubleshooting, rounds, ongoing/preventive maintenance and that we participate in improvement projects. We also have preparedness based on a rolling schedule.

As a team leader, you have an important role in creating the conditions for our work, for example you will work with:

  • Work management, planning, preparation, daily management and follow-up of completed work
  • Handle received error messages, problem solving and certain investigations
  • Co-planning, planning for revisions and shutdowns
  • Deviation reporting, order processing and condition checks
  • Ensure our preparedness function and in the long run be part of our preparedness
  • Systematic safety and work environment work.

You will report to the group manager for Ume river South, the group includes - in addition to the Lyckseleteam - also the Norsjö and Stornorrfors teams. You will participate in a local management group for Ume älv Syd, which includes the group manager, all team leaders and two plant engineers.

Requirements specification

You have secondary or post-secondary education, preferably in, for example, electricity, automation, mechanics and/or energy. Experience in production/operating technical work, electricity production and hydropower facilities is an advantage. We would like for you to have had a leading role where you have become accustomed to working with many contacts, prioritization and coordination.

As a person, you are committed and initiative-taking, you create conditions and inspire trust. To work as a team leader, it is required that you are structured, that you have good planning skills and that you appreciate taking on and working on various improvements.

Good IT skills are important, previous experience with SAP and working with planning tools is a plus. You speak and write Swedish and English, B driving license is a requirement as travel is included in the position.
