About the role

Do you want to have a key role in some of the country's most exciting projects in the energy industry even before they start? As a Tender Manager with us, you'll be involved in the earliest stages of projects, contributing your knowledge, business acumen and ability to produce informed calculations and competitive tenders.

Together with a dedicated team, you'll ensure that our tenders are of the highest quality. In this role, you'll work in an exciting industry where technology and business meet. You will be an important part of our journey of change, where we together develop our ways of working and create the solutions of the future.

Your responsibilities

As a tender manager, you will work closely with several functions within the organization and be responsible for the entire tender process from analysis to handover. You will:

  • Lead and conduct cost estimating in construction, operation and maintenance projects with a clear commercial focus.
  • Develop production estimates and assist in pricing.
  • Evaluate quotation requests and present a credible and commercially strong offer to the customer for decision.
  • Responsible for handover to production and support implementation.
  • Support the executing organization during project execution.


Requirements specification

Who are you?

You are solution-oriented and self-driven with a strong desire to contribute to improvement and development. Your good communication skills make you thrive in collaboration with both colleagues and customers, and you find it easy to create trust and build relationships.

We are looking for you who have:

  • Documented experience from successful tender processes in construction or operation and maintenance of infrastructure, preferably from roles as a construction engineer, estimator, account manager or similar with a business focus.
  • Ability to manage and analyze data and work in a structured manner against clear deadlines, preferably with experience of large, multidisciplinary projects.
  • Good knowledge of public procurement (LOU), construction law and commercial terms.
  • Relevant education in engineering, economics or equivalent work experience.

Advantage:

  • Strong ability in risk assessment, cost estimation and pricing strategies.
  • Experience in spreadsheets, Excel and digital tools for cost estimation and analysis.
