About the role

Do you have a background in the Police and an interest in training and coordination? Do you want to contribute to Sweden's fossil-free future - while strengthening the security of society? Then this could be the right role for you!

We are now looking for a training and exercise coordinator for our unit for facility protection and surveillance.

Who are we?

The unit is responsible for protecting the facility with everything from technical barriers and alarms to manned surveillance and rapid response. It is a job that requires both precision and cooperation - where your efforts really make a difference.

The unit's strategic goal is to be an established exercise center that offers the opportunity for exercise and training for collaborating authorities and activities. The unit has built an exercise environment that already serves as a base for skills enhancement - a base that you will be involved in further developing.

About the job

We are in an exciting development phase where we are strengthening our operational capabilities to meet a changing external situation. Our goal is for our security guards to be able to act with the same professionalism and with equivalent methods as our main collaboration partners - the local police.

We are now looking for you who want to lead that work, because you are passionate about training, development and collaboration. You will deliver training in your areas of expertise, which include conflict management and related law, but also coordinate and develop training delivered by others.

Example of tasks:

  • Plan, implement and follow up training and exercises within your area of expertise
  • Further develop and manage the unit's established exercise and competence program
  • Establish and maintain collaboration with relevant authorities
  • Co-plan exercises and training with authorities and blue light organizations
  • Collaborate with other exercise organizations at Ringhals, such as the accident organization and the internal rescue force

Requirement specification

About you

We are looking for you who are social, educational and enjoy working with others to achieve results. You are responsible, structured and enjoy switching between planning and organizing in the office and then implementing and following up in a classroom or training environment.

You have an ability to explain things in a clear and engaging way, and you have a strong interest in developing both people and working methods. With us, you will have the opportunity to do just that in a role where you really make a difference.

We would like you to have:

  • Police background (education and/or professional experience)
  • Experience working with training, preferably in police conflict management
  • Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish, and good knowledge of English
  • Very good administrative skills
