About the role

Then you can be our new Unit Manager for the Unit Hardness and Fuel Technology at Ringhals!

Who are we?

The Unit Hardness and Fuel Technology is one of five units within the Technology Department at Ringhals with main tasks such as procurement of nuclear fuel, dimensioning core design and monitoring core and fuel economy. Within the unit, it is also included to monitor external experiences and handle technical issues regarding the plants and assist the organization with technical support.

What will you do?

In the role of Unit Manager, you lead the business towards common goals and contribute to efficiency and flexibility that benefits both the department and the company. You have personnel responsibility for the group manager and associated staff for the unit. You are also part of the Technology Department's management team where you actively participate in the overall and strategic work. Together with the management team, you ensure that your unit develops in the desired direction and that we have a good working climate for well-being and performance.

The role of Head of Unit Hardening and Fuel Technology is varied and you will have the opportunity to pursue your own issues while collaborating with other departments and groups within the organization. In the role, you have many different contacts within Sweden and internationally, e.g. with suppliers, authorities, external cooperation forums and organizations.



Requirements specification


Who are you?

We believe that you who apply have:

  • Education as a civil engineer or university engineer, or solid work experience in the relevant field
  • Experience from managerial / leadership positions
  • Ability to speak and write fluent Swedish and used to communicating in English
  • Experience from nuclear power and knowledge of SSM regulations and Ringhals safety report, SAR.

As a Unit Manager, we see that you have good self-awareness and good organizational skills and holistic vision. You feel confident in the leadership role and it comes naturally to you to engage and motivate others to develop both employees, unit and company. You see cooperation, collaboration and continuous improvement as an obvious path to success and you create the conditions for open and clear communication within your own unit as well as within the organization as a whole.
