About the role

Do you want to help shape the future of work environment management at one of Sweden's most important workplaces? The Environment and Work Environment unit at Forsmark Power Group is now looking for a driven and structured work environment engineer who wants to make a real difference in a complex and socially important business.


We are responsible for work environment, environment, hazardous transport, personal protective equipment, electrical safety and human performance. The unit acts as a cohesive and supportive hub in these areas - and we are looking for you who want to be involved in further strengthening our role.


About the role

In the role of work environment engineer, you will have a broad and varied assignment. You work closely with both managers and employees in your daily work, with a focus on developing, following up and coordinating work environment efforts throughout the organization.

Examples of tasks:

  • Handle and carry out compilations and reporting both internally and externally (monthly reporting, work environment reports, etc.m)
  • Follow-up of accidents and incidents
  • Support to the organization in work environment issues, including:
  • Safety audits
  • Safety instructions
  • Investigations and risk assessments
  • Interpretation and implementation of new laws and regulations and ensuring access to relevant regulations for the organization
  • Management and preparation of governing documents in the field of work
  • Contact with authorities, group functions and corresponding roles at other Nuclear Power Plants
  • Support in and development of work environment management systems according to ISO 45001

You will also have an important task in training and supporting managers and supervisors internally!


Requirements

We are looking for you who have:

  • Education as a work environment engineer or a few years of work experience with similar tasks corresponding to the education
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations and the ability to analyze, interpret and apply these in the organization
  • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English in speech and writing
  • Good computer skills and experience of working with the Office package
  • B driving license

The position involves independent work and requires good problem-solving skills both on your own and together with colleagues.

You are energetic and take the initiative to drive issues forward with both commitment and responsibility. In addition, you are communicative - you have the ability to adapt and convey information in a clear and trustworthy way, regardless of who the recipient is.
