We are looking for people who want to be respite carers for families with major care responsibilities that last 24 hours a day - all year round.
You do not need any formal education, just that you are safe, caring and have patience while being active and committed. A police certificate is required prior to joining.
Care is agreed in collaboration with the family and the municipality and takes place either in the family's home, at your home or out in the local community. You may therefore need to be able to stay overnight. Respite care can be both weekend and hourly, and you will work in close collaboration with the family.
Work tasks may include practical assistance in everyday life, play activities and coping, daily routines and guidance. You will receive the necessary training both by the municipality and by the family.
As a collector with us, we can offer you:
Fixed and predictable assignments
A meaningful role that has great importance
Salary and coverage of expenses according to fixed regulations (SGS 1030)
If this sounds interesting, we welcome you to get in touch or submit an application and we will contact you.
We ask you to log in to the vacancy and register your CV etc. If you do not want your application to be published, we ask that you explain why. This is a requirement in accordance with Section 25 of the Norwegian Freedom of Information Act. We would also like to point out that applications may be made public even if the applicant has requested not to be included on the list of applicants. Certified copies of diplomas and certificates will only be provided on request.
