Do you want to lead and develop the services of the future?

We are looking for a committed and clear department manager who wants to help develop good, future-oriented services for our residents. The position is organized under the Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Adapted Services business area, and is part of a management team with five department managers.

As a department manager at Lundersveg Day and Respite Center, you will be responsible for full-time staffed services, including day and respite care and children's housing. You will play a central role in ensuring quality, development and good services for our service recipients.

Your main tasks

  • Professional and administrative management of the department in line with the municipality's management principles
  • Personnel and employer responsibility in accordance with applicable legislation and guidelines
  • Budget responsibility, financial management and reporting
  • Ensure efficient operations and services in line with quality requirements and legislation
  • Develop the services in line with national guidelines and local needs
  • Create a safe, inclusive and health-promoting working environment
  • Ensure quality, interaction and holistic services
  • Collaborate closely with relatives and other professional environments
  • Contribute to competence development and empowerment of employees
  • Drive continuous improvement work (Lean)
  • Report to the business manager

Qualifications

  • Nurse is preferred, but other relevant health or social education (minimum bachelor) can be considered.
  • Management education is desirable, or willingness to undertake this
  • Experience with and commitment to the user group
  • Good understanding of user participation and caregiver collaboration
  • Good ICT skills (Gerica, Visma, Good ICT skills (Gerica, Visma, Gat is an advantage)
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines
  • Good documentation skills and good oral/written presentation skills
  • Valid police certificate
