Vestre Toten municipality has 13,600 inhabitants and is Inland Norway's largest industrial municipality with Raufoss Industrial Park, which has over 3,000 employees and is experiencing strong growth and development. Technical Operations is located in its own office and operating premises at the Prøven industrial area in Raufoss. Other key locations are Breiskallen treatment plant and Skjelbreia water treatment plant.

Vestre Toten municipality is looking for experienced project managers in a 100% permanent position to lead water and wastewater projects. Here you have the opportunity to work on important and socially beneficial projects that benefit all the municipality's residents.

Vestre Toten municipality is facing several significant investments in the coming years.

Tasks

  • Lead investment projects in water and wastewater systems
  • Project management from planning and design to completion
  • Ensure HSE, progress, quality and cost control
  • Follow-up of consultants, contractors and partners
  • Preparation of water and wastewater plans

Qualifications/education

  • Relevant higher education in engineering, construction
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience from the construction industry in a similar position
  • Relevant education and practice to hold the function SØK, UTF in measure class II, water and wastewater systems
  • Experience in leadership / project management with coordination, resource management and collaboration as success factors
  • Good financial understanding and experience with budget and project management
  • Good digital skills and interest in technological development
  • Good results from previous projects
  • Good written/verbal presentation skills in Norwegian
  • Minimum driving license class B
