Raufosstun Health Center is a short-term care and rehabilitation unit with 16 short-term care beds and 2 KAD beds. We have 3 dialysis stations for Sykehuset Innlandet. We care for patients at all stages of life who require round-the-clock care with close medical supervision. Our unit consists of nurses and healthcare workers. We work closely with the municipality’s physical and occupational therapy services and the nursing home physician. We are proud of our high professional standards and our positive work environment.

As a healthcare assistant at the health center, you will play a key role in ensuring continuity in the patient’s care pathway, coordinating various healthcare services for the patient, and fostering patient and family involvement.

We are looking for a proud healthcare worker who is passionate about the field, focuses on patient safety, holistic patient care, and everyday coping (holistic intervention ladder).

Helsehuset is organized under the Helsehus - Home Care Services division

We have the following job openings:

- 2 x 100% healthcare worker long-term temporary positions with the possibility of extension

- 2 x 13.62% permanent weekend positions for students/care workers/skilled workers/nurses

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and supervisory role—primary tasks in patient care pathways
  • Contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Collaboration with clients and their families
  • Medical treatment and follow-up of inpatients
  • Daily life management
  • Staying professionally up-to-date within your own field and participating in the department’s professional development efforts
  • Supervising trainees and students
  • Palliative care and end-of-life care
  • Holistic care escalation model
  • Proficiency in relevant computer systems, including Gerica, Compilo, and Gat (training will be provided)
  • Internal control

Qualifications/Education:

  • License as a healthcare worker
  • Students
  • Care worker
  • Proficiency in Norwegian, both spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of ICT tools and electronic collaboration
  • A submitted and approved police background check is required before starting the position

Positions are compensated in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement, as well as qualifications and experience
