Vestre Toten Municipality is seeking healthcare workers and others with relevant healthcare expertise for the Raufosstun assisted living facility.

About the Workplace
Raufosstun Care Residence is located adjacent to Vestre Toten Health Center and consists of 24 care apartments staffed around the clock. We provide services to both older and younger individuals with complex needs. The workday is varied and offers excellent opportunities for professional development through interdisciplinary collaboration.
We have the following positions available starting in October 2026
- Full-time position (100%) with work every 4th weekend (12 hours/weekend) -day/evening
- Full-time position (100%) with work every 4th weekend (12 hours/weekend) – day/evening/night
- Permanent position, 83.74%, working every third weekend (regular shifts per weekend)—day/evening/night
- Permanent position, 70%, working every fourth weekend (12 hours per weekend) —day/evening/night
- Permanent position, 56.73%, night shifts with work every third weekend
Other percentage positions may become available due to internal promotions
In addition, weekend positions with various work percentages are available
Job Responsibilities
- Provide and document care and support for our residents.
- Develop and follow up on care plans
- Collaborate with residents, family members/guardians, and other professional groups
- Contribute to activities and a meaningful daily life for residents
- Participate in professional development and quality improvement
- Mentor students, apprentices, and colleagues as needed
- Collaborate with volunteers
- Serve on duty shifts with fire safety responsibilities
- Be proficient in relevant computer systems; we use, among others, Gerica (patient record system), Gat (scheduling system), and Compilo (quality management system
- Monitor residents using advanced medical equipment after receiving training
Qualifications
- License as a healthcare worker or other relevant healthcare education.
- Experience working with this target group is preferred
- Applicants from outside Scandinavia must document their knowledge of Norwegian, both written and spoken, by passing a B2-level Norwegian test
- A valid police clearance certificate must be presented upon hiring

- You must have good communication and collaboration skills
- Good Norwegian communication skills—both oral and written
- You must be able to work independently as well as in a team
