About Us

Lundersveg Day and Respite Care Center is centrally located in Raufoss and is part of the Adapted Services in Vestre Toten Municipality.

We provide day and respite care services for children and youth with various disabilities and complex support needs. A children’s home is also affiliated with the facility.

The children and youth we work with have different needs, interests, and abilities. Some require extensive assistance and support, while others need guidance, structure, and accommodations to manage as much as possible on their own.

What they all have in common is the need to be seen, understood, and treated as who they are.

We provide individually tailored services and targeted environmental support, and we aim to further develop a professional environment characterized by collaboration, reflection, and knowledge-based practice.

With us, no two days are alike—and we hope you’ll enjoy that too!

What do these positions entail?

As a healthcare worker at Lundersveg, you’ll be an important part of our daily environmental therapy work.

You will collaborate with colleagues from diverse professional backgrounds to create safe, predictable, and enriching daily routines for the children and adolescents.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

  • Providing individually tailored care, practical assistance, and health care.
  • Contributing to a sense of security, well-being, mastery, and independence in daily life.
  • Planning and carrying out activities tailored to each individual’s interests, wishes, and abilities.
  • Implement, document, and evaluate targeted environmental therapeutic interventions in collaboration with other professionals.
  • Work systematically with communication, structure, and predictability.
  • Prevent and manage challenging situations in a safe and professionally sound manner.
  • Observe and document changes in function, needs, and health status.
  • Administer medications following necessary training and in accordance with applicable procedures.
  • Collaborate with family members, colleagues, and relevant professional agencies.
  • Actively contribute to professional discussions, supervision, and quality improvement efforts.

We are looking for employees who not only perform their duties but are also curious about why we do things the way we do—and how we can do them even better.
