About Us

The Lundersveg Day and Respite Care Center is centrally located in Raufoss and is part of the Adapted Services in Vestre Toten Municipality.

We provide day and respite care services for children and youth with various disabilities and complex support needs. A children’s home is also affiliated with the facility.

Our goal is to provide individually tailored services that promote mastery, independence, security, and quality of life.

We aim to further develop a professional environment where reflection, professional curiosity, and systematic milieu therapy are central.

A position with professional opportunities

As a social care worker with us, you will play a central role in our environmental therapy work. You will work closely with colleagues, coordinators, and the department head to develop and ensure the quality of our services.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time (100%) position with a two-part shift schedule that includes working every third weekend, for 35.5 hours per week.

Start date to be agreed upon.

Duties will include, among other things

  • Planning, implementing, and evaluating targeted environmental therapeutic interventions.
  • Assessments and functional analyses as a basis for individually tailored services.
  • Work with behavioral analysis principles and Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) where applicable.
  • Development of interventions that promote communication, independence, coping, and participation.
  • Prevention and management of challenging behavior through professionally justified interventions.
  • Work in accordance with Chapter 9 of the Health and Care Services Act.
  • Medication management and health-related follow-up.
  • Guidance, training, and professional support for colleagues.
  • Quality improvement and service development.
  • Collaboration with family members, legal guardians, and relevant professional agencies.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a licensed social care worker who wants to actively apply their expertise.

We would like you to have an interest in behavioral analysis, habilitation, goal-oriented environmental work, and working with children and youth with complex needs.

You must have:

  • Norwegian certification as a social care worker.
  • Good Norwegian language skills, both spoken and written.
  • A Class B driver’s license.

It is an advantage if you have experience with or knowledge of

  • Chapter 9 of the Health and Care Services Act.
  • Behavioral analysis principles and EIBI.
  • Functional analyses and systematic intervention planning.
  • Working with children and youth with developmental disabilities, autism, or other disabilities.

We’re not only interested in what you can do today, but also in what you’d like to learn.

We are looking for a colleague who is confident, caring, and skilled at building relationships. You thrive on collaboration and professional discussions, take initiative, and are able to combine professional reflection with practical action.

Personal suitability will be emphasized.

Why choose Lundersveg?

With us, you’ll get:

  • A varied and meaningful workday with exciting professional challenges.
  • The opportunity to influence professional practice and the development of our services.

You don’t need to have all the answers to professional questions. The most important thing is that you’re curious, thoughtful, and eager to contribute to finding good solutions together with others.

We hope you’ll join us in further developing the Lundersveg Day and Respite Care Center!

Feel free to contact the department head for an informal conversation about the position.
