We are looking for a general practitioner in training under the 8.2 agreement at the Nysethvegen Medical Center. You will be responsible for your own patient list. The municipality is responsible for operating the medical center.

With us, you’ll receive a municipal patient list with no start-up costs. The position is advertised with a patient list of 700 patients.

About the Medical Office
The office is evolving following the transition to municipal operation, and we are actively working to further develop effective work processes and a positive professional environment. There are also plans to expand into new premises in the coming years. This gives you the opportunity to influence the design of future solutions.
The medical office currently has:

• 3 primary care physician positions
• Department head
• Skilled and experienced medical secretaries

The patient list is owned by the municipality, which provides you, as a physician, with a predictable and financially secure start.

Job Responsibilities

• General practice in accordance with applicable laws and agreements
• Participation in the Gjøvik Intermunicipal Emergency Medical Service, located at Sykehuset Innlandet Gjøvik
• Collegial coverage of absences among the doctors at the practice
• On-call duty, approx. 6–8 shifts per quarter
• Fixed nighttime salary in accordance with SFS 2305
• Private practice during the day/evening
• Opportunity for individual adjustment of shifts

Qualifications

• Valid medical license
• Physician who wishes to begin or has already begun ALIS specialization
• Good Norwegian language skills, both spoken and written
• Knowledge of the Norwegian healthcare system and relevant legislation
• We would prefer that you have experience as a primary care physician in a primary care practice
