
The municipality of Vestre Toten has 4 municipal and 7 private preschools with a total of approximately 560 children.

For the 2026/2027 preschool year, we are looking for individuals who can fill in at short notice at the preschools in the event of sick leave or similar situations. The preschools will contact you directly if a substitute position becomes available.
No formal qualifications are required to apply, but training as a child and youth worker is an advantage.
Individuals whose first language is not Norwegian must have passed a Norwegian language test. In addition, you must have achieved level A2 on the written expression subtest and level B1 on the reading comprehension, listening comprehension, and oral communication subtests.
Everyone must complete the “Safety Card,” which is an online training course on safety in daycare centers. Further information will be provided regarding this.
A submitted and approved police background check is required to be accepted as a substitute teacher.
An approved police background check must not be older than 3 months at the time of starting the position.
