We need temporary staff at the Central Kitchen on Bergsjøveien

Vestre Toten Central Kitchen prepares and delivers meals to the municipality’s residents in institutions, assisted living facilities, and those living at home who have been approved for meal delivery. We prefer temporary staff with a culinary certification, but other candidates with skills or experience in food or food production will also be considered.  

The work location will be at the production kitchen on Bergsjøveien in Bøverbru or at the kitchen at Raufoss Helsehuset

Working hours at Gimle (Fjellvoll) are 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (weekdays).

Working hours at Raufosstun are 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (weekdays and weekends).

Job Responsibilities

At the Bergsjø Institutional Kitchen in Bøverbru, there are many varied job responsibilities, such as: food preparation, baking, preparing special-diet meals, packing groceries, and repackaging food for institutions and people living at home.

At Raufosstun Health Center, you will prepare breakfast, lunch, and hot dinners for the patients.

Qualifications

Preferably culinary expertise/a culinary certificate, but other relevant skills/experience will be considered.

An interest in the field is a prerequisite

Versatile in handling tasks, organized, and motivated

Experience in a commercial kitchen is a desirable advantage

Experience in a manufacturing company and/or logistics is an advantage

We Need Temporary Workers for an Industrial Laundry

Vestre-Toten Laundry on Bergsjøveien is a large, modern laundry facility newly built in 2024, with a focus on the environment, the surroundings, and, not least, employee well-being and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Preferably candidates with professional expertise; however, other relevant skills or experience will be considered.

An interest in the field is a prerequisite.

Versatile in handling tasks, organized, and motivated.

Experience in a laundry facility is preferred; other experience will be considered.

Experience in a manufacturing company and/or logistics is an advantage

Job Responsibilities

The laundry is divided into 3 departments: receiving, laundry, and packing/folding/distribution, with rotation

Some driving may be required. Must have at least a Class B driver’s license.
