The public health clinic services are part of the “Children and Family” service area. The service currently consists of the health clinic services and the municipal psychologist, with its own service area manager.

The health clinic services have 20 employees distributed across the following sub-services: Child Health Clinic for ages 0–5, prenatal care, school health services, youth health clinic, physical therapy services, refugee health services, and the interdisciplinary family team. The health clinic services provide health promotion and preventive services to children and youth as well as their families, and adhere to applicable laws and guidelines related to the sub-services

Job Facts

We are seeking a dedicated and professionally competent public health nurse for a full-time (100%) permanent position with the current health clinic services.
80% of the position involves working as a health counselor in the school health service at Raufoss High School, and 20% involves other duties within the service.

Qualifications

• Advanced training as a public health nurse
• Experience working in school health services, youth health clinics, and public health clinics is a major advantage
• Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration
• Basic digital skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong self-management skills
• Ability to innovate and develop professionally

An approved and submitted police background check is required before starting the position

Salary Terms

Salary is determined by agreement based on qualifications and experience, in accordance with the provisions of the main collective bargaining agreement.

Use of a personal vehicle is reimbursed in accordance with the municipality’s travel regulations.
