Your role

We are now looking for an environmental or development engineer, or someone with equivalent environmental science skills, who can work both strategically and operationally to ensure that the business meets applicable environmental conditions and requirements.

The work includes both office tasks with field work, focusing on Viscaria's self-monitoring program and environmental reporting, as well as working with investigation conditions. Main tasks include investigative work linked to the deferred issues and the provisional regulations that follow from Viscaria's environmental permit.

You will also support ongoing environmental monitoring and work with follow-up and reporting of Viscaria's self-monitoring program. You are also expected to actively participate in working groups and development projects, where you contribute with your skills and environmental expertise.

Your background

We are looking for you who have a relevant academic education in the field of environment, chemical engineering, natural resources engineering or equivalent field.

It is an advantage if you also have:

  • Experience of environmental work in the mining or process industry
  • Knowledge of water environment issues
  • Competence in GIS

We also see that you have a B-driving license and good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.

To thrive in the role, you need to be analytical, structured and self-driven - with the ability to drive processes forward and work methodically.
