About the role
We are looking for geologists to join our Geology group, where you will make an immediate impact on the development and growth of the Viscaria deposit and its associated Mineral Resources.
As a geologist, you will play a key role in supporting near-mine and district-scale exploration activities. You will be part of a dynamic, enthusiastic and multinational team of geologists and geo-technicians that collaborate in the planning, execution and analysis of all geological activities.
This position is permanent, full-time and based in Kiruna, Sweden, with focus on the Viscaria Cu-Fe (IOCG-type) deposit. Periodic travel can be expected to the exploration project in Arvidsjaur, Sweden.
There will be good opportunities for professional growth, including mine-oriented responsibilities as we move toward the planned start of production in 2027.
What you will do
The initial tasks will be drillicore logging and sampling, data collection and QA/QC, drill rig supervision and field inspections. The role can be tailored to suit your experience and strengths.
There is room for professional development in the execution of diamond drilling projects, 3D geological modelling, structural analysis, and compilation and analysis of geological, geochemical and geophysical datasets to generate drill targets.
