The Opportunity

We are looking for an HMI Engineer who will play a key role in the implementation of our HMI systems for control systems in the energy sector. You will work closely with our technical teams to ensure our systems are user-friendly, efficient and meet our quality standards.

How you will make an impact

  • Design and develop user-friendly HMI solutions for control systems.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to integrate HMI systems into larger projects, ensuring compatibility and optimizing system functionality.
  • Conduct extensive testing and troubleshooting of HMI systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Identify and fix any problems or bugs.
  • Document design and development processes, create detailed user manuals and technical specifications to facilitate the use and maintenance of the system throughout its lifecycle.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute technical expertise, plan and follow up on project activities to ensure that schedules and budgets are met.
  • Develop and implement training programs for users/operators of the HMI system.

Your background

  • Education/degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or similar.
  • You have experience with Aveva SystemPlatform and know the basics of tag and/or object-based HMI implementation. Understands and can execute simple scripts used in the application.
  • Experience in HMI design and implementation, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Knowledge of programming and experience with SCADA systems.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams with strong problem solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
