The opportunity

You will work within High Voltage Products, a business unit of Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures and sells high-voltage products and cooling systems. Your role will be central to the management team of one of our factories in Ludvika. You will also be part of an HR team in Sweden of three additional colleagues, as well as an HR team in Europe. In the role, you will, among other things, be responsible for successfully combining local and global business strategies and implementing HR processes with leadership development in focus.

This position is based in Ludvika and you will report to Hannah Ekendahl, HR Manager for

High Voltage Products, Sweden. For commuters, Hitachi Energy has a bus with wifi that runs twice in the morning and twice in the afternoon between Västerås and Ludvika.

How you will make an impact

  • Coach and drive the work within the full HR cycle and with your expertise also contribute to empowering the managers in the organization as well as the others in the HR team.
  • Manage and develop our HR operations to meet local business goals and global strategies.
  • Identify short and long term solutions for skills development and talent management.
  • Drive independently the development of your area of responsibility while having the ability to strengthen collaboration within the team.
  • You share Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions, your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and Leadership or equivalent education and several years of experience in independent and leading HR roles (HRBP, HR Manager, etc.) or gained equivalent experience in other roles or assignments.
  • You have experience in managing, leading and developing teams as well as experience in independently handling and resolving complex labor law matters.
  • The role requires you to be a good communicator and have a good ability to build trust in relationships and in networks, thus good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement (spoken and written).
  • You have the ability to work strategically as well as handle details, but always have a proactive labor law.
  • You have a proactive work ethic in IT tools and work successfully with, among other things, the Office package.
  • We value your personal qualities highly and see that you are a problem solver in both small and large challenges, and that you dare to take decisions and initiatives. It is also highly meritorious if you have experience of working globally and in a matrix organization within HR.
