The opportunity

We help our customers increase their profits and contribute to a more sustainable future. By improving and ensuring the operation of our customers' existing systems and by replacing all or part of the control and HVDC equipment, we make this happen.

Now we at HVDC Service are looking for you who can take overall technical responsibility for our deliveries - all the way from the start of the quote and project delivery to the customer taking over. You will face an exciting challenge in the field of advanced control equipment combined with main circuit aspects within a growing market.

How you will make a difference

  • In the role of Lead Engineer, you work with entire project cycles including commissioning. Typical timeline spans over 2 years.
  • It is important that you have the opportunity to travel to customer meetings and participate in the commissioning of the customer's plant for the project you are involved in. Our customers are located globally in all corners of the world.
  • In this role, you can look forward to building significant customer contact networks and good development opportunities.

Your background

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power, Renewable Energy or similar engineering discipline.
  • You have previously worked with control and protection in power distribution, automation, signal technology or similar.
  • It is meritorious if you have experience from commissioning and testing of control equipment, preferably with leadership experience.
  • Experience as a salesperson in the service or preventive maintenance sector or experience in main circuit design is meritorious
  • As a person, you are a seasoned problem solver who thrives in a customer-oriented role with both internal and external stakeholders. You are organized and have experience working with overall planning.
  • With a curious interest in technology and your leadership skills, you thrive on supporting and managing experienced and junior engineers in your role.
  • Fluent in English and Swedish both in writing and speech. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
