Hitachi Energy in Figeholm is now looking for a Marketing Manager!
Leading the marketing and sales department gives you many opportunities and interesting challenges both locally and globally. The work is done in close cooperation with our international Hitachi Energy colleagues. The position involves business travel and meetings with customers and other business partners worldwide. This may include customer visits, product seminars, exhibitions and negotiations.
As head of the department, you will coach and develop the sales team, currently consisting of 6 employees. You will strengthen our proactive sales and have a central role in the development of marketing plans. This will also include increasing our customer understanding internally and strengthening relationships with existing and potential customers.
Your responsibilities
- Maintain our market shares and ensure that our competitiveness remains high.
- Further develop our existing markets and identify and meet new potential customers.
- Responsible for the strategic and operational marketing and sales work.
- Strengthen the collaboration between the local sales team in Figeholm and international sales organizations.
- Continuously develop the internal order processes and the local sales team
- Have an overall responsibility for the order intake of the unit and drive growth initiatives in the market.
- Continuously monitor market positioning, market share, order intake, invoice management, gross margin, ensure quality of sales forecasts and pricing.
Your background:
- You have several years of experience in management and sales combined with a technical background.
- You preferably have a Master's degree combined with commercial skills.
- General business acumen and specific industry experience is positive.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English. Additional language skills are meritorious.
- You are customer-focused and results-oriented and a team builder who inspires others.
- Documented experience of leading teams.
- You have a strong ability to communicate proactively and drive shared visions.
- To succeed in this role, you are respectful and responsive, both internally and externally.
