The opportunity
In this role you will be part of our Production Development team. In this role you will support production and lead production implementations of the world's largest transformers. You will work with production development which will give you the opportunity to gain a broad knowledge of our products. With a focus on supporting and developing production, you will also follow Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues. You will play a key role in identifying areas for improvement, implementing technical solutions and supporting production in their daily work.
You will be part of a great team with good camaraderie, helping each other and making sure to bring out the best of each other's knowledge and experience.
How you will make an impact
- You will lead and participate in development projects to improve efficiency, quality and safety.
- Identify problems and implement solutions and analyze production data and propose improvements based on Lean and Six Sigma.
- You will also lead major investment projects.
- In the role, you will support in digitalization and automation initiatives within the factory.
- You will participate in the introduction of new products and processes. You will also introduce and update work descriptions and method regulations.
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance and R&D teams. Also work closely with colleagues and suppliers to solve production challenges.
Your background
- You have a bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing or other relevant field.
- Work experience in production development or other similar role.
- You possess an analytical and problem-solving ability and have knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma.
- You have good communication and collaboration skills.
- You are fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing.
- Experience with Power BI, MES or CAD is an advantage.
