The opportunity

Are you looking for an opportunity to inspire, motivate and lead a team? Now is the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art production environment at Hitachi Energy in Figeholm together with our ambitious and knowledgeable production team. We manufacture Presspan, which is insulation material for transformers. We are about 100 employees.

As a Production Manager at Hitachi Energy in Figeholm, it is your leadership skills that take place where you develop, motivate and engage your team who are responsible for ensuring that the production produces set goals.

You report to the production manager and will lead a team where the applied working hours (5 shifts, which means that production is ongoing even when you are not on site.

You also contribute to a close collaboration with your production manager colleagues where you work towards common goals. Production is dynamic with deadlines to meet and you are comfortable making quick decisions when needed.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference and influence in a company that holds a key role in the green transformation of our society.

How you will make an impact

  • Drive an active work according to Hitachi's quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management system.
  • Have personnel responsibility for approximately 60 people (distributed between the production managers) employees with a target focus on safety, quality and performance.
  • Lead the recruitment and development of staff.
  • Have some financial responsibility.
  • Manage goals for the department; draw up, visualize, develop and follow up goals.
  • Drive the department's improvement work.
  • Make sure that the business is conducted in accordance with applicable laws and agreements.

Your background

  • You have previous management experience as a manager or have had the opportunity to lead others in projects.
  • You are confident in your role as a leader with good communication skills to convey and distribute the work. You see it as self-evident to develop your team as well as the business.
  • As a leader, you strive to create a common vision and build a strong team spirit, you like to work with people and to lift them.
  • You handle MS Office unhindered.
  • You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, to be able to interact with many different people in our organization.
  • Meritatory if you have previous experience of leadership in production, preferably industrial.
