About the position

You will belong to the Sheet Metal Technology department and the Electrical/Engineering Technology section. The department has about 50 designers including external consultants who work towards Plåt's plants (rolling mills and finishing). We currently work in area groups where mechanical, electrical and system designers work together with four different production departments. The work consists of design, plant development, construction, documentation/training and commissioning of machines in our plants through work orders and projects.

In the role, you will be an important part of the administrative support for our designers, the department's managers and for the further development of the department's operations and working methods. A large part of the work requires good cooperation with good communication within the department as well as with other departments and external actors.

Your main responsibilities

  • Perform role-oriented support and training in E-plan, Vault, OMS and IFS 8
  • Assist with administrative support in e.g. new hires, skills mapping, monthly reporting, external training and orders.
  • Be involved in the development and instructions on working methods.
  • Drive and participate in the department's work with safety.
  • Perform electrical design, red change, review and correct drawing documents and produce cost estimates / quotes.
  • Archiving drawings and documentation (check-in and check-out Vault, IFS etc.)

About you

  • You have very good knowledge of IFS 8, OMS, Vault and E-plan.
  • You have a degree in electrical engineering or equivalent knowledge gained through experience.
  • You deal with complex problems and situations in an efficient and independent manner.
  • You are well structured and plan and organize your own work, take the initiative to make things happen and have the ability to make your own decisions.
  • You enjoy working with administrative tasks and being a support for others.
  • Your collaboration skills are very good, you have an educational and open approach and are receptive to knowledge exchange.
  • You are fluent in Swedish and English and have good verbal and written communication skills.
